Getting started

How do I get an account?
An admin at your organisation creates accounts. If you don't have one yet, contact your admin or write to us at the support email above.

I forgot my password.
Ask your admin to reset it from their dashboard. They'll generate a one-time temporary password, share it with you securely, and you'll be prompted to set a new one when you next log in.

Messages

Are my messages really end-to-end encrypted?
Yes. Every message and media file is encrypted on your device with a key that only your recipient can use. Our servers store ciphertext — not plaintext.

What does the tick mean?
Single grey ✓ = the server has your message. Double grey ✓✓ = at least one recipient device received it. Blue ✓✓ = the recipient opened the chat.

I can't see "delivered" or "read" ticks anymore.
The recipient may have turned off read receipts in their Settings → Privacy. WhatsApp-style, this is symmetric — they don't see yours either.

Groups

How do I invite someone to my group?
Open the group → tap the group name → "Invite via link" → Share. Anyone with the link can join until you reset or revoke it.

How do I make someone an admin?
In group info, long-press their row in Members → "Make admin". You'll need to be a conv-admin yourself.

Why can't I send messages in this group?
The group admin turned on "Only admins can send messages". Ask an admin to flip it off.

Calls

The other person isn't ringing.
They may be offline or have notifications muted. The call will auto-miss after 45 seconds.

My call says "Reconnecting…".
Network glitch — usually clears in a few seconds. If it persists, leave and rejoin.

Privacy & security

Who can see when I was last online?
Other users you share a chat with, unless you turn off "Last seen" in Settings → Privacy.

How do I lock the app behind biometrics?
Settings → App lock → enable. You'll need a fingerprint or face unlock registered on your phone.

Account

How do I delete my account?
Settings → More settings → Account → Delete my account. Type your username to confirm. This is permanent.

I'm a super-admin. Why can't I delete my own account?
To prevent leaving the organisation without a recovery admin. Have another super-admin demote you first.
